Schools across Surat Spearhead Preventive Student Mental Wellbeing revolution with ConsciousLeap™️ Wellspire™️ Partnership – Gujarat Journal

In a pioneering move towards addressing student wellbeing, Surat schools are now taking the leap through their partnership with ConsciousLeap’s Wellspire™️, an innovative program dedicated to fostering holistic wellbeing among students. This collaboration across schools marks a significant step forward in addressing the multifaceted challenges facing students today, ranging from academic pressure to rising mental health concerns.

Wellspire™️’s comprehensive approach in preventive mental health focuses on empowering students with the tools and resources they need to thrive emotionally, mentally, and physically. With the increasing uptake of the program across schools in Surat, Wellspire™️ gains access to a wider audience, enabling it to reach more students and make a greater impact on school communities.

Shree Swaminarayan HV Vidyalaya Surat has been Wellspire™️’s pilot partner for academic year 2023-24. “I want to share the wonderful experience that me and my students had this year. The children developed many qualities in them like discipline, manners and other important life skills. I have seen so many positive changes in my students,” remarked a faculty member at HV Swaminarayan.

The Millennium School and PP Savani Cambridge International school have been the early adopters of the Wellspire™️ student wellbeing program. Through this partnership, leading Surat schools demonstrate their commitment to prioritising the wellbeing of their students, recognizing the importance of supporting students beyond academic endeavours.

“The Wellspire wellness program workshop provided us with invaluable insights into how this integrated wellbeing program can significantly benefit young minds in both academics and life. It was enlightening to see a comprehensive approach that helps students prioritise their wellbeing and gain a deeper understanding of themselves,” remarked a faculty member from Millennium School who participated in the Wellspire™️ teacher training workshop.

LP Savani Academy hosted a teacher training workshop on 3rd June ‘24, aimed at empowering teachers with the tools and knowledge for effective implementation of the Wellspire™️ Program.

The workshop received enthusiastic participation from LP Savani Academy’s teaching staff, who found the program both practical and impactful. The one day session was attended by teachers from other schools in Surat as well. Designed to be easy to implement without overwhelming teachers, the Wellspire™️ Program promises measurable results and long-term benefits for students. “Our teachers were excited to learn about the Wellspire™️ Program,” remarked a faculty member at LP Savani Academy. “The workshop provided us with valuable insights and resources to support our students’ wellbeing effectively.”

Designed around the proprietary Make You Happen™️ framework, ConsciousLeap’s Wellspire™️ Program addresses critical aspects of students’ mental wellbeing including emotional intelligence, stress management, and resilience building. By integrating seamlessly into the school curriculum, it ensures that students receive consistent support in navigating modern day challenges as they pursue their academic and life success.

In the academic year 2023-24, the Wellspire program has been implemented for more than 3,500 students across 55 schools in five states, and is now expected to benefit over 20000 students for the year 24-25. The schools belong to various education boards in the country including CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE and State government.
Samagra Shiksha, Uttarakhand Government and NFD CEE (Nehru Foundation for Development Centre for Environment Education) have signed a tripartite MOU with ConsciousLeap to bring the Wellspire™️ program for preventive mental wellbeing of students across its government schools this year, to reaffirm their commitment to preventive mental wellbeing of students.
